REHEARSALS (NYC)

I expect to have 3 or 4 New York rehearsals in 2024. The dates will be posted here once I know them, probably by early August. 

The one rehearsal scheduled right now is:

Sunday, October 6, 2024, 6pm-9pm EDT 

at the Opera Center in mid-town Manhattan

I may not lead all the rehearsals - one or more may be led by other carolers.

For returning carolers: we will have the same repertoire as last year. I advise that you attend one rehearsal to “shake the dust off” but depending on your individual situation that may not be necessary.

New carolers are advised to attend three or four rehearsals. 

There will also be separate SCAROLING rehearsals, probably one or two of them, also in Manhattan. The Scaroling repertoire is much more pop than classical and will be performed in “zombified” caroling costumes or other monster costumes; it is VERY fun, and Scaroling gigs typically pay a little better than caroling gigs because there are fewer groups to compete with.
